This is a great opportunity and Rotary International will be providing funding for these “Meet Ups” to pay for food, facility fees and any marketing costs.
The “super regions” are Regions 1E, 1W, 2 (Columbia, Greene, Ulster), Regions 3, 4, 7 (Dutchess, Putnam), Regions 5, 6 (Sullivan, Orange), Regions 8,9 (Rockland).
On March 6 from 6-8 PM, Region 5,6 will be hosting our MEET UP to attract new members into your Rotary club. It would be great to have each club in our region bring at least 5 new prospects. Last year we had over 50 in attendance. Please see the attached flyer for details.
The format of our "Meet Ups" will be very similar to your club's “Visitor Day”.
New prospects are free and the clubs are entitled to have a representative there as long as they bring a new prospect.
The “Meet Ups” will be informative, fun and interactive. We hope to get 15 new prospects at each event.
Diana Edwards, Regional Membership Officer from Rotary International will be present at all events!

Hope Alive 845 Founder was a Private investigator back in 2017 when he took on a missing young woman from Rockhill Ny. As days and weeks and months went by, He had to do something more for the communities as each second of the day someone went missing. He started This organization in the summer of 2020 and today they have grown to be passionate and understanding what families go through everyday not knowing where their loved one is at. |

Dear Fellow Rotarians,
We are VERY excited to invite you to our District Learning Assembly, taking place on Saturday, May 3rd (8:45am-3:00pm) at New Paltz High School. This event is open to every Rotarian, but it’s especially beneficial for those taking on leadership roles in their clubs next year. We will be offering a variety of courses, including sessions for members serving as your Club's President, Secretary, or Treasurer, or on your Membership, Public Image, Service, Youth, and Rotary Foundation committees. Additionally, we’ll have a Rotary Basics Course designed for newer members to learn the essentials about Rotary and an Assistant Governor course for all our AG's out there. The best part? The event is completely FREE with lunch and refreshments for all Rotarians who register. Simply click HERE to sign up today. If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m happy to help. We’re also thrilled to announce two incredible speakers this year:
We are also offering clubs to take part in our Take Action Showcase, where you can have a table at this event to market your program and/or event. To sign up, email Beau O'Loendorf at beau.oloendorf@gmail.com. This is going to be a fantastic day of learning, growth, and inspiration, and we’d love for you to be a part of it. Please register as soon as possible so we can prepare for the courses you’ll be attending. Looking forward to seeing you there! |
