Opening a Shop in a Pandemic

Kayla was born and raised in Sullivan county, grew up in Neversink, NY and spent majority of her adult life in Liberty, She was introduced to the beauty industry over 16 years ago at just 14 years old with her first Job opportunity as a cleaning assistant at a local salon.  12 years ago, she received her NYS license after attending Boces’ vocational Cosmetology program in 2008.  After her son was born she thought about opening a salon in her home. Due to covid and other delays, she searched for a  vacant storefronts to continue her dream of owning her own salon.
