Matthew Sush is a Business Relationship Officer at Jeff Bank, where he plays a key role in strengthening community partnerships and supporting the bank’s mission. Recognized for his leadership and service, he was honored with the Sullivan County Young Emerging Leader Award in 2021.

Dedicated to his community, Matthew currently serves as Treasurer and Board Member of the Liberty NY Rotary Club and as the 2nd Vice Chair of the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce. His past involvement includes leadership roles with the Chamber Foundation, the Town of Thompson Planning Board, and the SullivanARC Foundation. He is also helping to launch Emerging and Sullivan Professionals (ESP), a new initiative supporting the region’s rising leaders, and has co-chaired the Young Emerging Leaders group.

Matthew lives in Sullivan County with his wife Jennie, their son Arlo, and their two dogs, Bari and Bruno. Together, they enjoy spending time outdoors and embracing nature’s beauty.

Inspired by the story of the hummingbird, Matthew believes that every small action matters. Whether in his professional role or community work, he is committed to doing his part—one drop at a time—to make a difference.
