Liberty Rotary Club was very pleased to receive a $1,000 prize from Jeff Bank as a result of our efforts at this year's Garnet Health WSUL Heart-A-Thon. For each $500 our club raised, we earned a chance at winning this prize. Thanks to the impressive fundraising efforts of so many and the generosity of our members and community, we had many chances.
LRC helped to raise $16,193 in pledges and $8,497 in hearts for a total of $24,790. If you add the $4,585 from the Monticello & LM Rotary Clubs, the Grand Total raised with the help of the local rotary clubs in 2021 was $29,375. This year’s Heart-A-Thon raised just over $95,000.
Our club has been a proud of supporter of the Heart-A-Thon for many years, and we thank Bold Gold Media and the Heart-A-Thon Committee for their dedication to the event, which raises thousands of dollars annually for Garnet Health Medical Center- Catskills.
