Dara Smith - Food Service Director at Sullivan County BOCES

On November 13th, Dara Smith, the Food Service Director at Sullivan County B.O.C.E.S. gave us an update on the important work she is doing.  Dara is supervising the creation of meals for the students of many of our county's youth.  With a budget of just $1.50 per meal and strict new healthy foods requirements in schools, Dara's job can be quite challenging.  Fortunately through hard work and creativity she assists in providing for th63% of students in Liberty that qualify for free and reduced lunches. Thanks to Dara and all the people with whom she interacts, students are provided tasty meals that have no saturated fats and contain mostly whole grains.
