The two Garys (Silver and Siegel) of Liberty Rotary are once again in Haiti to bring health care and clean water to their people.  As the Liberty Rotary Club Clean Water Project transitions from lofty goal to reality, it is great to see them doing so much to improve the lives of those so very needy.  Below is a recent message sent by Gary Siegel to all of us:

A message from Gary Siegel from Haiti:

Just wanted to check in and let you know that everything is going well in Haiti.  We had great meeting with Cap Hatian Rotarians in the north.  Making great strides to bring the Club’s Clean Water Project to fruition.  The water committee is formed and they are motivated and eager to hire the technicians and select the families within the timeline we set forth for them.  We are very optimistic that we will be able to roll out the water filtration systems in February and bring an entourage of Rotarians to Cap Hatien during Presidents' weekend.

We have transitioned to the south where we are coordinating basic first aid and EMS training as well as medical clinics on the island of Il la Vache.

We at Liberty Rotary are so very proud of all Gary Silver and Gary Siegel for putting "service above self" and making the lives of those in Haiti so much better.
