Summer in the Catskills gives much opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and get some exercise. It also affords one the chance to make a difference.  Liberty Rotarians have been out there supporting local charities by participating in some great walks and runs including the Turtle Trot, DYC River Run and the Monticello Rotary Monster Classic.
Just for the health of it, consider the many races offered in our area that raise funds for important causes.

Team Liberty Rotary participated in the Monster Classic.  In addition to having many members participate, Liberty Rotary Club was a $500 sponsor of the event, and thanks to our generous members and supporters, raised an additional $1,125 to support our veterans.

There is another walk/run being planned for September 24 in the Town of Lumberland to benefit those struggling in Ukraine and those that are now refugees in nearby countries.  More information to follow.
Additionally, there is an event being planned to benefit the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance being planned for the fall.
