The Liberty Rotary Club’s Team ALStars had an amazing experience participating in the Scranton Half-Marathon! We ran and walked in honor of Air Force Veteran John W. McCormack, a Jeffersonville native who was diagnosed with Bulbar ALS. John is the brother of one of our dedicated members, making this cause especially close to our hearts.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we raised over $3,500 for ALS TDI. We’re hopeful that these donations will contribute to advancing treatment options, and ultimately lead to a cure for this devastating disease.
