Liberty Rotary Club and Liberty Boys and Girls Club Have Banner Year for Food Collection

According to Dave Thomson's estimate "this year's food drive collected twice as much food as we have on any other collection we have done". He estimates "We had 12-14 full shopping carts of food collected", and also collected $256 in cash which were given to the Interfaith Food Pantry as ShopRite gift cards.

Dave tells us that he was putting bags of food into his closed doors through half opened windows, including the front passenger seat. Thanks to Chris Ahlberg who helped move the rest of the food.

The Boys and Girls Club staff and students really helped make a huge difference. Overall, a great day's work to benefit such an important cause. Thank you to all who volunteered and extra special thanks to Dave for organizing the event and supervising throughout the day.
