In an effort to foster camaraderie amongst our club membership and assure that everyone feels included, The Liberty Rotary Club Membership Committee has created the “buddy system”. Its elegance lies in its simplicity, which pairs every person in our club with another member that they might not normally interact with socially. Buddies are encouraged to check in with each other, and if they so desire, spend a bit of time getting to know each other on a more personal level.
It is hoped that the new “buddy system” will help promote the third ethical guidepost of The Rotary Four Way Test, which is “Will It Build Good Will and Better Friendships”. It is through this four-part credo that Rotarians assure that all we do promotes our motto of “Service Above Self”.
