ImageVISIT FROM OUR SUPERVISOR

On Wednesday, January 25, newly elected Liberty Town Supervisor joined us for our weekly meeting. Charlie was enthusiastic about his new role and spoke of how he is inspired by the spirit of the residents of Liberty. In particular he is encouraged by the young adults that have chosen to make their homes in Liberty because they like its spirit. He plans to listen to and learn from his constituents and work to help make the changes he is asked to make. While there are changes that will take a long time and changes that can only be made on the State level, there are some things we can do locally to help our community right away. First, we can shop locally. Charlie mentioned The Trading Post, Agway, the Tractor Supply and a host of other stores that we should try before we leave town to shop. Shopping locally will increase our tax revenue and help every one of us. Secondly, residents should continue to volunteer in our community to help make it better. Charlie sees the economy improving and is looking forward to his term serving the residents of Liberty.
