Did you know that 1 in 7 US adults cannot read?!?!
32 million US adults lack basic prose literacy skills – that means they can’t read a newspaper or instructions on a pill bottle!
Please help the INTERACT CLUB of Liberty High School bring awareness to literacy in the US and encourage our youth to READ, READ, READ by bringing in new or gently used books during the month of March!
There will be drop off boxes in the office of each school building!
We will be donating the books to the Literacy Volunteers in Monticello AND to their new building in Bethel (they are seeking specifically children’s books!).
