On Tuesday (4/28/26), we had the pleasure of joining the Livingston Manor Rotary Club along with Monticello Rotary for a wonderful joint meeting at Upward Brewery. It was great to connect with our local neighbors, share some food and drinks, and catch up on all the great work happening across our clubs.
A special thank you to Livingston Manor Rotary and President Jenn Edwards for their warm hospitality.
We were impressed by the evening’s guest speakers—Maria, who has worked extensively to establish a bodega-style food pantry serving Livingston Manor and the surrounding area, and Iris from Gale Root Farms, who supports the pantry by sourcing fresh produce and meats. The pantry offers a welcoming space where anyone in need can select up to 10 items, along with essential goods and personal care products, all at no cost.
The evening’s 50/50 raffle proceeds were donated to support the pantry. Maria also invited everyone to take part in the upcoming Trout Parade on June 13th, their biggest fundraiser of the year.
Thank you again to Livingston Manor Rotary, Maria, and Iris for an evening filled with friendship, generosity, and inspiration.
