The Liberty Rotary Club is proud to present the “Hummingbirds Walk For Clean Water”. This event will raise funds for the Haiti Clean Water Program Sustainability Fund which will allow us to continue to provide water filtration systems and supplies that provide clean, potable water to 1,000 families in Haiti that would otherwise do without.
For those attending the June 5th walk on the trail, we encourage you to form a team of 4 participants to complete a relay style walk in which each member carries two one-gallon containers of water (we will supply the water) to simulate the challenge Haitians face each day in bringing clean, potable water to their dwellings. Since we will need to schedule the staggered start, please indicate your preferred start time. For race information, contact:
Participants can complete this event on June 5th at a scheduled staggered start time between 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Hurleyville Rail Trail, or choose a date of their choice, between June 4th and June 30th, 2021.
