The Liberty NY Rotary Club was honored to be presented with the New York State Senate 2020 Empire State Award for outstanding community service by Senator Jen Metzger. The award was presented to the club in recognition of outstanding contributions and dedication to the growth, prosperity and betterment of our community. Senator Metzger pointed out the outstanding word that the club has done in the community including the contributions to the 98.3 WSUL Heartathon, support of the local Boys and Girls Club, and initiating and coordinating Operation Feed supporting our essential workers, local restaurants and food insecure families. The award was accepted by Past President Bill Silver and President CD with support from fellow rotarians Joanna Gass, Sue Kraycer, Barbi Neumann Marty and Fay Cerullo.
