Welcome
It's time for another edition of Meet a Member of the Liberty NY Rotary Club. This gentlemen has a heart of gold, not just for his friendly smile or the work he does in our club, but also for all the local youth he's had a positive impact on through his years in education. Here is the Rotary tale of Tony Sinacore!
"My name is Anthony Sinacore. My friends call me Tony. My mother always called me Anthony. I have been a member of Rotary since 2007 with a two-year break in 2012. I joined Rotary because I wanted to contribute something back to the community, whether it is in the form of service or financial support.
When I first joined, it was because I worked with many of the members in my job. I enjoy participating in the fundraisers such as coin drops and selling raffle tickets at the Trading Post and Liberty Diner. I have volunteered during the past two years delivering food for A Single Bite.
I am currently “retired” from PreK-12 education. I am an Adjunct Professor at SUNY Sullivan and I currently serve on the Liberty Central School District Board and the Sullivan BOCES Board. I have been an avid Mets fan since their inception in 1962. If you are looking for something gratifying to do, come and join us."
Stay tuned for our next edition of Meet a Member, which will be posted at the end of September!
