The Liberty Rotary Club held its annual Coat Distribution Day on Saturday, October 25th, which also happened to be National Make A Difference Day!
Nearly 500 coats were distributed, with about half going to children in need. In addition to Liberty Rotarians, members of the Boys and Girls Club joined in this wonderful day, offering face painting and helping children make lollipop ghosts and decorate pumpkins.
It took many caring hands to make this day so special for so many. Huge thanks to all the dedicated Liberty Rotary Club volunteers, community partners, and local organizations who came together to make it happen.
Special appreciation goes out to the Monticello and Livingston Manor Rotary Clubs, the local Liberty Interact Club, and all who donated coats, pumpkins, supplies, and time to help keep our community warm this season.
Any coats that were unclaimed at the event will be shared with the Federation for the Homeless, ensuring that warmth continues to spread throughout our community.
