Liberty Rotary Club is pleased to announce the induction of its newest member Diana Weiner

Diana K. Weiner is the Horticulture Coordinator for Sullivan Renaissance, a beautification and community development program principally funded by the Gerry Foundation. The program provides communities in Sullivan County, NY with seed money for beautification projects. She currently judges for America in Bloom, a national and international beautification program.

Diana is an agronomist. For 16+ years she served as the Community Horticulture Educator and Master Gardener Coordinator for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County, NY. She then joined the staff of Mohonk Mountain House as their Superintendent of Parks and Grounds. She enjoys lecturing and consulting. She and her husband lived at Meadowbrook Farm, an affiliate of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, John Story was the Director there before retiring in 2012. They now reside in Neversink, NY.

Diana is a member of the Garden Writers Association, The International Plant Propagators Society, the Perennial Plant Association and the American Horticultural Society. She currently sits on the program committee of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Sullivan County.

We look forward to Diana's involvement in all our programs and hope that her enthusiasm and expertise helps Liberty Rotary do even more for our community.
